Weekly homework

We have had an amazing first week back! All the children have come back after Easter ready to learn and very focused!

In Maths this week we have been looking at counting in 10's forwards and backwards from any given number. We have been looking at patterns when counting in 10's for example: 7,17,27,37,47 - the ones stay the same and then 10's go up by 1 ten each time. Any practice you do at home would be fantastic!

In Literacy we have started our new book 'Man on the Moon'! The children have been writing diary entries, postcards and even created their own 'souvenir stall' for the tourists who visit space.

In topic we started the week with a space quiz, which the children loved! We then moved on to make our moon with paper mache! We all found this very tricky but they are starting to come together, we just need to add on the craters.

This week every child has been in school everyday, just a reminded to get 100% attendance children need to be on time. We all have our fingers crossed that we will win the attendance trophy on Monday!
